Re: Unable to access Internet via Wireless / Wired LAN Works FIne

clive.packer@xxxxxxxxx says...

It looks like the IPCONFIG you provided is for the workstation. We also
need to see output from both servers. I presume one is the SBS and the
other is (at least) an additional Domain Controller?

The other helpful information will be:

* One or two NIC SBS configuration?
* SBS2003 Standard or Premium?
* If Premium, ISA enabled?
* Simple network diagram, such as (for 1-NIC config):

Internet Connection Device ->
Router -or- Firewall Appliance ->
Switch -> SBS
2nd Server
WAP
PCs

Just a note: With two NICs enabled on the same subnet, Windows XP tends
to get confused. But I did see that you still have the problem when
only the wireless NIC is enabled.

I have a strange problem which neither me nor my network admin can
figure out. My laptop can acess the company network (SBS 2003) either
via a LAN connection or Wireless. The wireless LAN is a simple AP
acting as a hub only. The same DHCP server serves both wired and
wireless LAN.

When I connect via the wired connection everything is fine.

When I connect via the wireless, I can access Exchange, Sharepoint,
shared folders, etc., anything internal, but I can't access the
internet. I can't even ping the DSL router.

Config: DSL router: 10.0.0.1
Company servers 10.0.0.2 and 10.0.0.3

Here's how ipconfig looks:
