From your description, I know that you enabled DFS on the SBS 2003 R2
server and link to NAS, you want to view on the Windows XP client. If I am
off-base, please don¡¯t hesitate to let me know.

The Windows DFS is the network file system for the environment. It hosts
home directories and workspaces for projects and divisions; it consists of
many shared folders. Dfs is composed of server and client components. Dfs
servers are responsible for maintaining the logical to physical namespace
translation table and for handing out physical server referrals to clients
who are attempting to access shares through the logical namespace. Dfs
clients send requests to Dfs servers to obtain referrals to servers that
host the data advertised in the logical link.

Dfs supports file system shares that can be accessed using the Universal
Naming Convention (UNC) through an extensive set of protocols including the
Common Internet File System (CIFS), network file system (NFS), NetWare Core
Protocol (NCP), and Apple Talk. If you use Windows XP, the DFS is available
from clients using the UNC path \\sbsserver\dfs.
