I posted this yesterday, with no reply, trying it again.
We setup SBS03 Premium, originally setup a couple of pop accounts on server,
had issues as we couldn't authenticate, went through wizard and chose disable
email. I guess there were still some messages stuck in queue still trying to
send. Server started running like crap. I found 1000's of files in badmail
folder & queue folder. i emptied both. server has been offline for several
hours, no network cables plugged in trying to diagnose slowness. after
removing those files out of both directories, server running like its
supposed to. i left it on, still unplugged from all network, and bad mail
folder continues to collect more files. I'm guessing that its still trying
to send email. how can i stop this. I have used MS script to automatically
remove files from bad mail, but there shouldn't be any since no mail is
happening anymore. thanx in advance for the help.
Robb
