Thanks Steve - go pet the MVP's... here kitty kitty.....

Wow what set off that tirade? Remember the MVPs don't work for MS but they
do their best to help as a liason between the user community and MS. They
also provide a lot of help and info to these newsgroups and in other ways
that make our lives easier. Well maybe you would be better off out of the
Windows world that you think so badly of and using only Novell and Linux.

Well thats more 'fun'

I have been dealing as an IT guy before IT was an acronym or geek or nerd
was a word - with MS - pre DOS actually on OSes that were much like DOS
and
maybe BILL stole that too

I really dont appreciate SPENDING MONEY LIKE I AND MY CUSTOMERS DO
ESPECIALLY ON SERVER RELATED SO CALLED UPGRADES

AND NOT HAVE IT REFLECT AS SUCH!!!!

tuck that in your MVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MS better get a grip!!!!!!!!!11 I also am Novell and lets not talk about
how
much fun it is there with MS interfacing!!!! I am going to start looking
at
others like LInux...

I am so tired of MS's incapabilities big and small

but thanks for the reply

I suggest STRONGLY that MS fix FIX that issue for obvious REASONS

for 1 if I leave the next IT guy - probably another MVP type - shows up
and
thinks it NEEDS TO BE UPGRADED AGAIN?

WOW anyone wonder about that there at the losing monopoly?

The upgrade was successful - so it reported. But my OS is still
reported
as
SP1 'Restricted'.... in My Computer Properties and in Server Management
under
server info - and using Belarc..... I only see R2 as version in Company
Web...... anyone know what gives? Is there a better way to check
version
info?

Thanks!!!!!!
