Thanks for posting back.
regarding nslookup,please refer to the following KB article.
Using NSlookup.exe
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/200525/en-us
in the nslookup command,what is the default server,is it pointing to
10.4.10.8?please make it point to 10.4.10.8
in current situation,I'd like to suggest you to do the following steps:
1.disjoin the domain on the laptop
2.join the domain again by add client computer wizard,run the
http://servername/connectcomputer on the laptop to join the domain.if DNS
is working fine,you should rejoin the domain successfully
3.then test again to see if it helps
