That doesn't help very much. Please post the complete ipconfig/all from the
server and a client.

OK,There
Workstations all point to the domain controllers IP (192.168.1.1), for
gateway, DNS, DHCP, and WINS servers.
The Server Lan side points to itself with for gateway, WINS, and DNS.
is an additional DNS entry for the router (10.1.10.1).domain name
The Server Internet side is IP's 10.1.10.2. Gateway and DSN are 10.1.10.1
(router).
I don't see anything incorrect here?

Network domain name is "co_domain.com". The SMB2003 environment
this isis "co_domain.local".
Workstations inside co_domain.local cannot access co_domain.com. An
nslookup with resolve the .com domain name.
Ping will also resolve the name but the request times out. None of
a problem from the SMB server--
which is the "co_domain.local".
Any ideas how to fix this?
First check that the ipconfig /all command on both workstations and
SBS show *only* the SBS LAN NIC IP address as DNS server. Incorrect
DNS configuration is responsible for most funnies of this kind, which
may be intermittent.
Also check the DNS forwarders for SBS, which should be either blank
or the ISP's DNS servers. I've seen a DSL router DNS server fail to
make some types of query to some domains correctly.
