Hi,
I've been using RDP from work to connect to my SBS 2003 at home for a few
years now, and I've become addicted to it.
The problem now, is that the company I work for has recently been purchased
by another company, and apparently they are not as loose as my old comany
was with regards to the internet.
I couldn't connect to port 4125 from the new network. So I did a test and
found that I could get out of the new network and into my home computer's
router on the SQL port, 1433.
So, I changed SQL port to 2433, and changed the RDP port from 4125 to 1433.
I can use RDP using 1433 on my old network. --- The new network and the
old network are currently both active, but after a week the old one will be
gone altogether :(
But I still can't connect over the new network on 1433. Do I need an
additional port?
Anyone have any ideas? I still have this week that I can use to test any
possible soultions. I have one laptop connected to my home on the old
network and one laptop that is on the new network that cannot currently
connect.
Thanks for any help!!
Steve
