Re: HOw to setup printers based on the users

Instead of worrying about the users seeing the printers why not set the
printer permissions per group at the printer on the server. When they choose
to access it they will get a permission denied sort of response.

We use sbs2003 and 10 shared printers. Each time when users log on to the
network, the 10 printers automatically show in their computers. How do I
setup the printer based on the user group? for example, accounting staff
only
see the printers in Account dept, and sales staff only see the printers in
sales dept. I think group policy would do this job, but I could not find
how
to configure group policy for this issue.
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Michael
