After removing, rebuilding and then restoring share point and companyweb
from backup tape I'm getting a lot of these event id 1000 errors.
#50070: Unable to connect to the database STS_servername_1047021953 on
SERVERNAME\SharePoint. Check the database connection information and make
sure that the database server is running.
I noticed that STS_servername_1047021953 is the old name from the
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL$SHAREPOINT\Data folder. The new
names are STS_servername_1. My question is in order to get rid of these
erros can I just rename the new STS data file to the old one and not have
share point services broken? I've search the web for suggestions and one of
them was to make sure that the MSSQL$SHAREPOINT service was running under
the System Local account whish it wasn't and I changed that.
