You can safely buy the R2 version. R2 is really just based on SBS 2003 SP1
with a few additional features and enhancements.

Hi, everyone,
As I mentioned in the subject, i am not very sure the difference between
SBS2003 standard and SBS2003 R2 standard. I plan to buy the book Windows
Small Business Server 2003 Administrator's Companion book. But there are
two
of them, one is just for SBS2003, another one is for R2. We are using SBS
2003 and the book currently available in the book store is the R2 one. So
I
don't know if this matters if I simply buy the R2 version. If there is a
big
difference, I think I'd better order the non R2 one and wait for probably
one
more week.
Thank you.
