Hello Bob,
Thank you for posting here.
According to your description, I understand that you want to add additional
printer drivers for Vista on SBS 2003. If I have misunderstood the problem,
please don't hesitate to let me know.
Based on my research, there is no patch as your request till now. The Vista
is published later than Windows 2003 server, therefore, the Windows 2003
server and SBS 2003 do not including additional drivers options for Vista.
There is a workaround for your issue: we can install the Vista driver from
the client side separately.
1. Please go to the SBS 2003 server, open ''Printers and Faxes'' in
''Control panel''.
2. Double-click the printer which you want to share in the network.
3. In the printer properties window, click ''Sharing'' tab and then select
''Share this printer''. Type the share name, check ''List in the
directory'' box and click ''OK''.
4. Go to the Vista client computer, click ''Start''-->''Run'', type ''\\
<SBS server name>'' (without the quotation marks) and press Enter.
5. You will see the shared printer.
6. Double-click it; the client computer will automatically connect to the
shared printer and install the printer driver.
7. The Vista can not find compatible driver from SBS 2003, the Vista will
prompt you to give out the compatible driver from client side.
8. Insert printer driver disk or explorer to the folder including the
printer driver for Vista.
The steps will make the Vista install printer driver by itself but not copy
from SBS 2003.
Meanwhile, make sure that you driver appears on the Windows Hardware
Compatibility List (HCL)

| Does anyone know when Server 2003 will be patched to allow Vista drivers
to
| be added to the additional drivers properties tab for each printer?
| Currently, all Vista boxes are having to print directly to the IP
printer,
| causing lots of seperate print queues and more work installing each new
PC as
| lots of different printered need to be manually added.
| Thanks
| Bob
