The architecture for SharePointT Team Services, a new technology from
Microsoft®, is based on the architecture for Microsoft FrontPage 2002 Server
Extensions, but also adds a SQL ServerT or MSDE database to the mix to
support new features such as Web document discussions and document
libraries. FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions are an update to FrontPage 2000
Server Extensions, and the architecture has not changed significantly.

I'm running SBS 2003 R2 Premium. I discovered that FrontPage Server
Extensions were installed automatically during the SBS installation
process,
even though I did NOT install FrontPage (and have no intention of ever
doing
so). Are the FP Server Extensions required by SBS for one of it's many
internal functions. Or may I safely uninstall them?
Thanks!
