Hello,A properly configured firewall/router/vpn will help protect each site.
Thank you in advance for any advise!
I would like to connect a Branch office location to our SBS2003 network. I have installed W2KSP1 2003 on a Branch office server so far and have purchased the a Business class Netgear VPN router for the branch office and Static IP's but had some questions before i dived in?
For this to work, do i need to install ISA on my SBS2003 box or can i acheive this another route? the primary concern here is a always on connection to my SBS2003 network for Files, E-Mail Companyweb etc.
If so, Is there a step by step guideline for doing this (preferably in pictures) :)
Another post said that i could get all i needed from a router to router VPN tunnel and would rather not go down the server route if i did not need to? (step by step guide woulod be good for this also)
I appreciate your help,
Fieldy
Unless you need a Proxy server to control Internet usage and such, then ISA should not be needed in your scenario.
Hope this helps
