Sharepoint issue on sbs2003

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I'm not real familiar with how the sharepoint works on sbs2003 but
have a client that would like to use it. I can get it to open on the
server by typing in http://companyweb in browser and it opens. I am
unable to get it to access from the other computers on the network.
Tried typing in the server ip/companyweb and all combinations I can
think of. Any suggestions or help on this would be much appreciated.
