OK, I know this has been giving me fits and I have noticed other boards where people have seen a problem but this is going to cause major issues if not resolved..
First, I have an SBS 2003 Prem R2 installation with all of the service packs including ISA sp2 (which I heard was a culprit in this type of problem). I have a standard 2 NIC set letting the CEICW wizard configure things. First I had a problem with my XP clients not getting a DHCP address and being refused on the ISA SBS Internet Access Rule (makes no sense since it was all internal traffic). Then after I rebooted the server my XP clients could not PING an outside address (www.google.com). Again the ISA monitoring told me a Deny for a Ping based on the SBS Internet Access Rule. I then went into that rule and add in "All Users" to the "Internet Users" already in the rule. XP clients can then ping. Then I went back into that rule and took out the "All Users" and the XP clients are still good on pinging. If I reboot the server I have to start all over again. I am convinced there is a bug with the SP2 of ISA but I don't know what to do. This is going to cause me problems with some clients who do want to restrict internet access via the rule.
Any thoughts from anyone? Anyone else have the same type of issues?
Thanks!
