Hmmm... With every one of my SBS 2003 clients that are backing up to
external USB drives, periodically I see the backup wizard "revert" to not
excluding the external drive from the backup routine after a failed backup
during the previous night. (This is after I've excluded the external drive
and the SBS backup routine has run perfectly for some time). Before the
next backup, I have to go in and manually re-run the wizard and exclude the
external drive again. It doesn't happen after every failed backup, just
some. I've had to develop a routine of checking the Wizard after every
failed backup to make sure that the external drive is still excluded. Kind
of a PITA but workable.
Interesting. Somewhere in my foggy past, I recall _possibly_ seeing
this behavior. But if so, it's only been once.
