Re: Starting a pc in safe mode remotely

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi,

Is it possible to remotely make a pc restart in either safe mode or with
last known good configuration? The pc in question is accessible remotely
via RWW.

maybe you could modify the boot.ini and reboot.
But i've no idea if thats a good or bad idea ;-)

- maybe after the reboot you cannot reconnect
- after reboot, the boot.ini has to be set in it's original state
