learnt my lesson after having a very bad experience.

lotdied on me, while copying lots of small files.

We're running XP SP2 workstations and got this error message writing a
eventof data to a database file on the server.
The article instructs you to look in the event log. Can't find the
log.
The hotfix for this error was to have been fixed in SP2, which we'rerunning.
Have you come across this situation. Is there a fix?
