Hi Glbs,
Thanks for posting in our newsgroup.
From your description, I know that you are configuring a new SBS 2003 R2network and you cannot visit RWW from outside.
Please let me know the following to make the situation more clearly:
1. Can you visit RWW from the Internet before you install SBS 2003 R2?
2. When you visit RWW from the Internet, what¡¯s the error massage?
Please take the following steps to see if the problem can be resolved?
Step 1: Rerun the CEICW wizard again, this makes us publish the RWW to
Internet successfully.
1. Click Start, click Server Management. Click To Do List and then click
"Connect to the Internet". Click Next, and go through the Internet option.
2. Select Enable firewall and click Next. Ensure Terminal Services is
selected and Click Next.
3. On the Web Services Configuration page shows, make sure that "Remote
Work Website" is selected. Click Next.
4. On the Web Server Certificate page shows. Select "Create a new Web
server certificate", and type your FQDN (mail.domain.com) in the "Web
server name" text box. Click Next.
IMPORTANT: The FQDN that you type in the "Web server name" box must be the
same name that you use to connect to the Web site from the Internet. For
example, if the URL that you use to connect to the RWW is
https://mail.contoso.com/remote, type "mail.contoso.com" (without the
quotation marks) in the "Web server name" box. If you use
http://ipaddress/remote to access RWW, type the public IP address in the
"Web server name".
5. Go through the steps to finish the wizard.

Step 2: Make sure the following ports are open:
Port :80, 443, 3389, 4125
In addition, if the router supports UPNP, the CEICW will automatically
configure the ports.
If the problem still exists, please help me collect the following for
further research:
1. Screen shot of the error massage when you visit RWW form Internet.
2. IIS Metabase.
1) Download the IIS Resource Kit tools from the following page:

2) Install it, run MBExplorer (Metabase Explorer)
3) Right click the "LM" node and choose "Export to file".
4) Specify a file name, specify the password and finish the export.
5) Send the file and the password to me.
3. MPS Report on the Server and problematic computer.
1) Download the MPSRPT_NETWORK.EXE from the following link and then run
this tool to gather some information from the problematic computer:

2) Double-click on the MPSRPT_NETWORK.EXE file.
[Note] This process may take some time; however, it will not have a
negative effect on the performance.
3) A CAB file will be generated in the
%systemroot%\MPSReports\Network\Reports\Cab directory called
%COMPUTERNAME%_MPSReports.CAB. The CAB file will contain the reports
generated by the MPS Reporting Tool.

<I am configuring a new SBS 03 R2 Standard network, along side of the
<current network. My major concern is not being able to take advantage
<of RWW from outside of the network. I can access OWA, RWW, companyweb
<from within, but not ouside of the network.
<This might be the factor: The new network will replace the current
<one, and the DNS addresses and the domain names are identical.
<Additonal infor: The SBS serer has two NIC's, with the outside one
<connected to a Cisco router. I do believe that I have the proper
<ports opened on the Cisco, and the internet connection wizard has been
<run a few times, opening up RWW, OWA, etc.
