Event ID 1031 after SP1

Hi,
Before I give up on Service Pack 1, I thought I would post my problem.
I have 2 identical Dell PowerEdge 1800's which I swap over
periodically to test backups, etc. using snapshot from
drivesnapshot.com. I take full images from all drives nightly and can
easily restore these on the offline server and switch live machines,
no problems for last 2 years.
I put SP1 on last Sunday following all procedures except I already had
put Exchange SP2 so skipped the Ex SP1 update. Incidentally, Dell
replaced faulty motherboard then RAID card on the current machine a
few weeks ago. Now when I run drivesnapshot (called from a SQL Server
job) the server hangs and I get event ID 1031 system "One of the
System Attendant's task is blocked.
Function: CMonitoringTask::Work" and some other errors.
I have read up on this problem and tried all suggestions on web and
narrowed this down to when my C Drive image is being taken. Exchange
databases are on D Drive.
Any help would be grateful, I am going to swap data to pre-SP1 machine
tomorrow.
Thanks,
Paul
.
