Re: Webmail not working

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

You shouldn't need to run ISA wizards to setup OWA only the CEICW which will
in turn do the necessary ISA configuration.

i have managed to get the VPN'd part working again. I can connect to OWA
and
RWW. The problem I have now wich is the one that I was attempting to
solve
in the first place is the OWA and RWW from External network.

I have run the wizards in ISA and they have the rules, they look OK. I
have
forwarded the correct ports from the router to the SBS server and looked
at
the ISA log when I attempt to request a page. It is logging the
connection
as open and then cosed so it is accepting it but for some reason the
request
isnt getting through to IIS as there is no log.

If I access via VPN then there is a log created in IIS so somewhere the
request isnt getting passed from ISA to IIS.

Surely this is a simple problem.

BTW I am accessing my router via IP instead of company domain as currently
the domain is forwarded to a hosting site.

Surely entering xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/remote or xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/exchange would
be
enough to get me through for the tests.

Thanks
Marc

Hi,
I have been running SBS2003 R2 for some time now without issue. I
decided
to try and publish the Exchange Webmail so that I can access when not in
the
office.

It used to work when I VPN'd through to router and then through to
internal
network. I could then access using unsecured webmail.

So I decided to follow the instructions to publishing and generating
security certificate. I can now access Exchange web via VPN and Https
but as
soon as I log in I get access denied "you are not authorised to view this
page".

I have run CEICW again but it has not fixed the problem.

Also after running the publishing wizards and forwading port 443 from the
router to the SBS box I still cant access via web.

Help is greatly appreciated.
