Weird File Access Error

I have a user on a SBS2003 domain. He has documents mapped to server. All
of a sudden (15 Feb) some of their files(Word Docs) dissallowed access.
Access denied or drive full was the jist of the message.
Strange thing is you can change the file name, but cannot open the file. You
can MOVE the file or directories, but not COPY.
Only this user has the problem, and he has a laptop and desktop and it is
the same on both. He is logged on on both machines.
Offline files also has a problem with these files. Do not sync and
dissappear when offline.
