The workstations should point to the interal address of the server
(192.168.1.5) for both DNS and Gateway.
There must be a misconfiguration somewhere. Run an ipconfig /release
followed by an ipconfig /renew and see if that solves the problem. Also
make sure that there are no hardcoded values in the settings of the
workstations

Ok, I have researched these posts, and followed step by step on how to
setup
your SBS2003 with 2 NICS (i was using one NIC, had too many issues).
External NIC:
Ip: 192.168.2.4
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.2.1 (which is my Cisco PIX)
DNS: 192.168.1.5
Internal NIC:
Ip: 192.168.1.5
Sub: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: Blank
DNS: 192.168.1.5
when i run the Internet Wizard and let it do it's thing... the Server can
get on the internet but the workstations can not! the workstations are
getting an address of 192.168.1.x and the gateway and dns point to
192.168.1.5
am i missing something? it's very confusing and frustrating.
Thanks!
