Has anyone had issues with getting an external drive to properly show
up in Windows? It was working fine at a while back.

Strange behaviors. I plug it in and the system recognizes the new
device. In device manager I see the USB mass storage device under
usb, and I see the hard drive under disk devices, and it's described
correctly. The system seems to be polling the device correctly, and
there are no errors in comp. management and everything is enabled and
drivers installed.

However, the drive does not show up in disk management or my computer
or windows explorer. I've scanned the bus and I've deleted the device
and had the system rediscover. Tried several XP SP2 systems and a Win
2K, using all different USB ports. Always the same behaviour.

Thanks for the help.
