Re: Dell PE2900 and Broadcom NICs

I had several follow up calls from Dell regarding this problem. Dell
suggested disabling TOE on hardware level to see what difference it makes.
Unfortunately I am not in position to do any more research on server which
is now in production. As soon as I installed Intel NICs server went in and
50 people are using it for most of 24 hours day.
At the time of installation I did try various driver revisions with TOE on
and off. At one stage I was certain I had it sorted out. But an hour later I
saw so many tcp connections fail it wasn't funny.
I will be installing another PE2900 soon. If time allows I will get Dell
support to help me monitor situation. We will see how it goes (just in case
I have Intel dual NIC waiting to be plugged in) :-)

Are you using TOE?

Does anyone know if there is resolution for the "ISA-Broadcom NICs"
problem
yet?
Should I bother getting Dell on site to troubleshoot or simply install
Intel
NIC and cut my loses?
TIA.
