Re: TFTP Problems

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

TFTP uses port 69 UDP (not port 21)

run "netstat -anb"

you will get a list of all ports used and the exe/dll that created the usage

in my case its TFTPD32.exe that is using the port - a freeware TFTP server
used to update IOS images on Cisco routers

UDP 0.0.0.0:69 *:* 6048
[tftpd32.exe]

I am having problems when I start the TFTP service:

Could not start the tftpd service on Local computer

Error 10048: Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network
address/port) is normally permitted.

How can I find where the conflict is?

thanks.
