I have the same problem one on a wired connection with SBS 2003 and
another on a wireless PC on another SBS 2003 LAN. In both cases
Internet access is still working and My Computer shows mapped drives
are connected but upon opening a mapped drive no files are shown. If I
do a Synch of offline files all mapped drive data re-appears and is
accessible even on drives that are mapped but not synched with offline
files.
If anyone has found a solution to this please post it.

But the customer can't !@#$%% access their database or shared network
drives until the computer is "online" to the server. I know I can
disable offline files but that's not my issue, I WANT offline files
available. Going to try and find a thread that has the regedit for
kerberos timeout policy and try increasing that.
Cool. Personally, I don't want Offline Files on any LAN-connected
computer....the server should always be available, and I want users working
from centralized copies of data. There are better offline file options for
laptop users, too, in my opinion. Just my $.02.
Let us know how the kerberos thing works out, anyway.

I've verified that when the pc is "offline" that the customer can
browse the internet etc, so he has connection the server as it is
acting as the internet router. And if he opens the syncronization
and click ok all his network shared work without issue. Then it goes
offline again later....strange.
You could disable !@#$%% offline files.
