Re: Unable to route fax

Try the following:

1. Open Server Management.
2. Right-click on Fax (Local) container.
3. Select "Properties".
4. Select "Receipts" tab.
5. In the Message Box, enable the "Enable Message Boxes as receipts"
checkbox.
6. In SMTP E-mail, check the following:
a. "Enable SMTP Receipts e-mail receipts delivery" is enabled.
b. "Use these SMTP Settings for the Route through E-mail incoming routing
method" is enabled.
c. Under Authentication, try setting to Anonymous access if not set
already".

Hope this helps

I'm having this same problem. We have had the system forwarding faxes to
an email distribution group for years and now all of a sudden we are
getting the same 32083 and 32089 error messages. Our system is setup to
also forward one of the fax lines to a printer and both fax lines forward
to a storage folder. Everything works except the forward to email. Does
anyone have any ideas as to why this would suddenly not be able to forward
to email?
