Daily Email Status Reports No Longer Sent

About a month ago I posted about a SBS2k3 server that stopped sending me
daily email reports for seemingly no reason.
It was not resolved and now a second server, at another location and
completely unrelated location, has also stopped sending the daily email
reports.
Exchange is not used on either server (aprox 10 users use pop email
services). They both still send out error messages from the battery backup
device (Advance Power Conversion, APC, business edition software running).
If there are no error where should I begin to try to resolve this?
