1. Did this issue happen on server side or client side or both?

2. If on client side, did the issue happen on some specific clients or

No clients involved, everything is being done on the server.
The issue is happening on the receiving fax server. It will not receive
any faxes regardless of whether they are sent from a modem or a standalone
fax machine.



3. What is the exact brand and model of the fax modem?


Two USR Couriers, one for incoming, one for outgoing. Back in the days of
NT4 SBS these were about the only modems that were recommended for SBS.
The pair that are on this server have been working fine for about two
years. It would be an extremely rare coincidence if this modem just
happened to fail on the same day day as I ran SFC.exe!


4. Download and run the setup MPS report tool on the SBS 2003 server.


Lost remote connection to the server at the moment just waiting for the
users to finish for the day before they can reboot the server. As soon as
I can get access to it again I will run this and email you the results.
