Question?
I have an SBS 2003 enviroment that needs to be locked down some.
For example, the owner doesn't want certain people to access his
Users Shared Folders but he wants a select few to be able to gain
access. I was thinking of using a few security groups, and when I
did, the people that need access have read only access. Were did I
go wrong.
An MVP suggested this article but I'm still having issues.
"Home Folder" error when running the Add User Wizard

Is this something not to do or am I missing something really simple.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Mike Johnson
Don't do this - it becomes a nightmare to manage. Leave home
directories/user folders for the user (and admins) only. Create additional
shares for anything else - and set NTFS permissions using groups, not users.
