Received fax errors after running SFC.exe

We no longer seem to be able to receive faxes, the fax log reports 'Uknown
fatal error'. It may be just coincidental but this seems to have happened
after I ran System File Checker.

I recall that when SFC ran it found bad signatures in a number of MSFax
Client files and replaced them with the original versions. SFC was pointed
towards the SP1 location so should have found the most recent copy of the
files.

Any suggestions?
