Hello Chace,
You seemed to have helped out Dave, so I'm wondering if you can help me out.
I am indeed having the Jet_errDuplicateKey -1605 error. I've done the hard
recovery (eseutil /p) test for both public and private and then checked
integrity and they are both good and they both have clean sheets. I deleted
all the log files after that.
Basically, it seems that one of the log files went missing initially and the
store got dismounted and I couldnt remount it (it is only one store - i only
have about 40 users).
I tried doing the defragmentation for the pub.edu and it worked, but it
doesn't with priv1.edu and it gives me the jet_errduplicate keys error after
10 seconds. I hence also have not done the isinteg test.
But, I did managed to mount the store and the computer booted up without
errors and the smtp and information store, mta stack, etc, all the services
need are all running. All the users are connected through outlook clients to
the server. I can open outlook web access from outside, but problem is:
1. users cannot send emails outside, nor to themselves, nor colleagues
within organisation.
2. in outlook web access, once you log in, you cannot open any messages -
gives you internal error.
so unlikes the post below, i cannot send at all.
Can you tell me what to do? Is it possible perhaps to somehow unmount the
store, create a new one and then move the mailboxes?
Hope you can help out. Many, many thanks...
Kind Regards,
Maki
