Re: RWW - Can't login

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

These were all users migrated from an SBS 2000 server and the security
groups weren't migrated. I guess that is where the problem arose.
Thanks again for your help.
I guess we can end this thread now.

Hello Lester,

I'm glad to hear that things are working correctly for you now.

In SBS, we recommend to add new user account by Add User Wizard by but
ADUC. It is different from Windows 2003 server. The wizard will let you
modify the permission of the new account (i.e. RWW permission or Internet
Access permission) via add the new account to different groups. If you use
ADUC to add user account, the new account will have to add to the group
manually if they want to have some permission. To open Add User Wizard,
please open Server Management console, locate to Standard
Management->Users, click Add a User link in the right pane.

Please do not hesitate to post in this great newsgroup if you need any
assistance in the future. I look forward to working with you again.

Thank you and happy New Year.

Best regards,

Terence Liu(MSFT)

| Problem Solved.
|
| I did't realise there was an RWW security group. I've never had to add
| anyone to this group on the previous 6 SBS 2003 Standard servers that I
have

| Premium and ISA.
