Hi Chris,

Thank you for updating.

First, I want to apologize for my unclear expression. In my previous post,
when I said "enable gpedit.log.In Registry Editor, go to
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon. Add a new
REG_DWORD value GPEditDebugLevel. The value normally used for
troubleshooting is 0x10002. Reproduce the problem and then send the log
file to me at v-innjin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the subject of this post. The
GPEDIT debug log, GPEDIT.LOG, is created in the following location:
%windir%\debug\usermode\gpedit.log".

I mean" 0x00010002", not 000 as a suffix, please change the value and
reproduce the issue, then send me the log files.

Also please gather the following information:

1. I would like to know how many DCs are there exists in the network?

2. Run command "GPRESULT /V >c:\gp.txt"

3. On the SBS server, click Start -> Run, type in "gpmc.msc", click OK.
Right-click Group Policy Results and click Group Policy Results Wizard...,
click Next, select "this computer". Select "Select a specific user" and
then select the user who has the problem, click Next. Follow the
instructions to generate a group policy result report, right-click the
report and click Save Report. Then send it to me at
v-innjin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You can down the tool and get more information in the following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/gpmc/gpmcwp.mspx

4. Please open Event Viewer and save the Application and System log file
in
evt format, then send to me.

5. Change the Dword value on the server, re-logon, reproduce the issue,
then send me the log files (please ensure they are up-to-date) to me.

6. On the SBS 2003 server, use the directory service MPS report to collect
the event logs and configuration info

a. Visit
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd9
15706/MPSRPT_DirSvc.EXE to download the file.

b. Run the MPSRPT_DirSvc.exe on the server box.

c. Wait for 10~15 minutes.

d. Open Windows explorer, navigate to
%SYSTEMROOT%\MPSReports\DirSvc\Logs\cab\

e. Send the .cab file directly to me.

7. Compress all the files, named "37115123-Scheduled task won't run" and
send to my working mailbox: v-innjin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I appreciate your understanding. I am happy to be of assistance to you and
look forward to your reply.

Have a nice day!

Best regards,

Inn Jin (MSFT)
