One of our BDC crashed and had to be rebuilt. You can delete it from the SBS using ntdsutil and maybe AD Computers where you remove it as a GC. I have done it in the past. I guess I used 216498.
It was rebuilt using the same name and ip but it can not be added back to the domain nor can running dcpromo /forceremoval delete it from AD on teh PDC.
Nor can it be removed or deleted from sbs2003.
Is there a better way to recover from this?
Thank you
