Disk Defragmentation
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
SBS 2003, with 3 partitions on a SCSI Raid 5.
C: System
D: Exchange databases, and some other stuff including Client Apps
E: Client data files.
I have run Eseutil /d on the D:\exchange database with no problems.
The generic windows Disk defragmenter when analysing the D: partition still
advises defragmentation. Is this safe to do, with the exchange MDBDATA data
contained on it?
Presumably it will be safe to defrag C: and E: if advised by the Disk
Defragmenter?
I have backups, and also exmerged exchange to pst files, just in case!!
Seasons Greetings and TIA
.
