And they are not being "safely" removed by turning them off before they are removed.

Most of these are on RAID5 arrays with 1 or 2 partitions usually. They have
plenty of gigs of space available usually.
Since the Drive Letter listed is not an actual partition letter, I'm unsure
what is causing the errors. Could it be something with the RAID5 array
perhaps?
I get these daily from two of my clients and am just puzzled.
