wow, those morons are all over the place ... I think they even have attacked
one or two of my installations, and I know I was the only one there!

Les,
Found the problem... Some MORON (couldn't be me... I don't care if I was
the only one involved in configuring the server) didn't notice that the
DHCP
scope was initially set for 192.168.0.0 instead of 192.168.1.0.
Once I fixed that moron's mistake - network configuration worked just fine
and all is well.

Hi Will,
I've already got the network manually configured
The issue most likely lies in the above. Perhaps we'll be able to spot
the
problem if you post the output of an IPCONFIG/all run from the server,
and
from one of the workstations.
Also, there's a log file called icwlog.txt here: (default location)
c:\program files\Microsoft windows small business server\support

I'm trying to set up a Windows 2003 SBS and everytime I try doing the
CEICW,
it errors on the Network Configuration - but doesn't log any errors.
No
config.vbs script is created in \program files\microsoft windows small
business server\networking\icw either.
The server has 1 NIC and is connecting to a Router that connects to the
internet. I choose broadband, local router device with an IP address,
provide the correct DNS Servers the ISP gave and set my local router
address
to 192.168.1.1. I check the "My server uses a single network
connection
for
both Internet access and the local network.
I've already got the network manually configured (DHCP and all) and can
access the internet, but I cannot set up Update Services (or other
things)
until it thinks I ran CEICW - can someone provide some guidance on how
to
make CEICW happy?
