Hi,
My test system did not ohave TOE just on single on board Broadcom.
TOE was not enabled on the 2900.
Since the Intels went in - system working fine.
I have had other issues with sbs2003 R2 - still trying to nail some of them
down. But at least this one sorted!!!!

There's actually two potential issues, but most don't get as far as #2,.
allthough at first glance it's easy to think this is problem #1.
2. I don't believe you can use ISA *and* TOE enabled nics, so at the least
you'd need to disable that nic feature.
1. The NICs are broken. It doesn't matter what you do with or without ISA,
and/or without TOE.
Like you, I started and #2 and worked my way down to #1. Then switched to
different NICs.

I added the resolution to my post in isaserver.org forgot to post
resolution
here!!
OK so this is the resolution:
I have Removed / Disabled the Dell Broadcom Off Load Network card from the
systems and install good old 3com cards and everything works like a dream.
Broadcom when in the LAN stops the local Web Sites - connectcomputer and
companyweb etc.
Broadcom when in the DMZ stops RPC traffic, webmail etc.
My customers server was a 2900 and my test system Optiplex PC.
Pete
Ron, ended up installing Intel PCIe Server card for the LAN and Intel PCIe
for the DMZ - system happy now for a week. (Never had answer from Dell
Support)

I have the EXACT same problem since this weekend...
PE 2900 pre-installed w/SBS2003 Prem(ISA 2004). I picked the dual Bradcom
NICs with the thought of adding a 3rd NIC for the external connection and
teaming the dual NICs on the LAN. I'm only using one Broadcom NIC until I
got
everything nailed down.
I migrated users and computers from SBS2000 w/ADMT v3.0 and mail with
SBS2003 Exchange Migration Wizard. Please don't mention Swing now. I
thought
this would be simpler. After migration, Installed ISA2004 from disk1 and
SP2+post SP2 hotfix.
Intranet stuff (companyweb, connectcomputer,OWA) and Outlook all fail from
clients but work locally on the server. Outlook can't connect to the
Exchange
server but Outlook 2000 can (I reconfigured an existing client computer
profile before installing Outlook 2003 on first login). After seeing your
posts, I'm inclined to suspect ISA is the problem. Did you determine
which
update(s) may be involved? Unfortunately I can't yank the embedded NICs
and
the server is now in production although limping along w/o Outlook until
I,
the CoMpUtEr CoNsUlTaNt, fix everything. Any help here would be
appreciated.
Perhaps ISA didn't publish the Exchange server and websites? I've never
used
ISA 2004 before but I would expect the ISA 2004 install would
preconfigure
everything through CEICW.

Hi,
Just finished my first Dell server Pre installed SBS2003 R2 and i have
had a
few issues the main problem:
Installed ISA 2004 and i lost access to the ConnectComputer, Exhange
WebMail
and CompanyWeb sites - i.e. can not add any more PC's to the network!!!
If i remove ISA 2004 then i can add PC's, browse Web Mail and the
CompanyWeb
site with no problems.
i have now tried to install ISA three times and used the wizzard to
configure but i get the sanme result each time.
