Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

What you need to do now is to load the drivers for your new RAID controller. Then use the BIOS of the controller to re-create the mirror. Make sure you know which drive is the "master".

As it is right now, you could mount the second drive as a standalone drive and simply format it or remove the partitions. But I generally prefer to not do that.

Thanks Charile-

I booted it up, and it worked... however, it gave me three (3) days to
register it again, due to a hardware change. Although, I haven't installed
but one drive, instead of two... hopefully it will be painless and trouble
free.

Hopefully, tomorrow when I take it to my customer it will be painless... I
shall see what will happen to it.

Thanks! If you think something else should be applied let me know.

You may not need to reformat and re-install. Sometimes, depending on the
level of differences, Windows can handle the changes with PnP. I'd say it's
worth trying, since you have two versions of the exact same disk. Try just
plugging it in and powering up. The worst that can happen is it doesn't work
and you have to start over.
