Re: Remote access

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

A thought...

Remote (RDP) into the server and go into the setup config on your router.
The disable the VPN capability, delete the port forwarding to your SBS NIC,
and reboot the router. Then go back in, re-enable the VPN Passthrough and
configure the port forwarding to your SBS NIC.

I see this sometimes on the DLINK DI-604 routers I use. The router seems to
forget that VPN Passthrough has already been set up.

After some very bad weather involving some major power outages I have not
been able to use remote connection, the log shows error 800. The Microsoft
support says configure remote access, this I have done several times still
no
access. Nothing has changed on the firewall, router etc. I can get
Outlook
Web Access, Remote Desk Top Access, email etc just not VPN. Help
