Re: How do an "Administrative Install" into ClientApps

Matt,
Thanks for the GREAT response - this is very helpful!
The extra details about performing this administrative install will be
helpful. Actually, we are all on Office 2003, but have images embedded in
Access using OLE from MS Photo Editor...which only came with Office 2000.
So, we actually will only be installing that single item from the CD...I'll
use the guide to restrict as much as possible, fown to just this app if that
is feasible.
Thanks again!

See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2000/HA011379511033.aspx , for
Office 2000 admin install specifically. Use the clientapps folder as
your "installation point"
See http://tinyurl.com/ujyqc for better info on adding apps in general.
Note that if you're getting a 'read' error during the copy you might
have an issue with the CD, just because it installs fine from CD
doesn't mean that there aren't files on the CD that aren't accessible
(from a scratch, etc.)..it just means that the inaccessible files
weren't needed for the install.
Also, insure that if you attempt to automate the installation that you
take Outlook into account (specifically, *NOT* adding Outlook to the
installation as it should be installed from the built-in Outlook 2003
deployment already in Clientapps)
