I assume the workstation is WinXP Pro (not WinXP Home Edition or WinXP Media
Center) and that you are actually trying to connect with
http://servername/connectcomputer
You may want to follow the steps in this thread to delete "_sbs_netsetup_"
and try again to join the workstation to the domain:
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs/browse_thread/thread/b8007d3136020c6/dd15f22d3083b8cc?lnk=st&q=sbs+2003+workstation+connectcomputer+__sbs_netsetup__&rnum=1&hl=en#dd15f22d3083b8cc
Of course, this assumes that you have the SBS server set up properly which,
from your other post tonight, may not be the case.

I have a server running sbs2003 standard that I just set up. When I try to
add a machine to the domain using http://machinename/connectcomputer the
workstation will start connecting, I get a box that has some options
checked,
i unchecked all of the boxes except the top one, which is required, click
next, another box comes up then I get an error that is very generic, it
says
something to the affect of "an internal error has occured, please contact
the
network administrator. I can connect the systems to the domain the old way
but of course none of the profiles or anything else is copied over. After
I
try to connect the correct way and reboot the system i get the welcome
screen
with two user names, one is the actual user name, the other is something
like
nsb_setup. When I enter the admin password for the domain in the box it
asks
me if I have forgotten my password. How can I make the
http://machinename/connectcomputer work? How can I get rid of the "setup"
username?
