May be that remote desktop is not set up on workstation, but since you said
Companyweb was not accessible internally, I'm thinking maybe something is
wrong with IIS. And since it's ther same on two different servers, I'm
leaning towards a set up issue.
I'm assuming you get no errors when you run CEICW, enable the firewall,
select the services and then complete CEICW.
Did you do any "customization" to IIS (install a business web site, etc.) on
these servers?

Merv
Clients cannot access companyweb internally on the LAN, and RWW will not
work to the clients on the LAN either.
ISA is not setup on either server. I wondered if it was something silly
like
remote desktop not being enabled on the clients, it could be this, but if
I
remember, i'm sure I tested this on one client at least, that had it
enabled.

So both servers are Premium wityh ISA 2004 installed?
Does the Intranet site site work from a workstation located on either
LAN?

Hi Merv
I have done all of this. This occurs at two different customers. One
has
SBS2003 Premium with SP1, the other has SBS2003 R2.
Both SBS's have all the updates installed, I just wondered if it was
the
client windows xp firewalls that were stopping this, although I
wouldn't
have
thought this maybe a problem, or all clienty PCs need updates up to
date.
Another note, exactly the same thing occurs with sharepoint companyweb
intranet site. The servers pick it up straight away but the clients
cannot.
Therefore, clients at both sites cannot be accessed via RRW or
companyweb,
but the servers can!!!
Thanks,
Jeff

Have you re-run CEICW, enabled the firewall, selected your services

Is this SBS 2003 Standard or Premium (and is it no SP, SP1 or R2).

Thanks forthe reply Merv
All appropriate ports have already been forwarded to the server. I
can
access the server through RWW perfectly, but not the clients.
Many thanks

Hi Jeff,
Make sure that port 4125 is forwarded to your SBS server NIC (or
the
external NIC on your SBS server if you are using a 2 NIC + router
network
configuation).
Users cannot connect to remote desktops by using the Windows Small
Business
Server 2003 Remote Web Workplace

Hello,
I can connect over the Internet to the server using RWW, but when
I
try
to
access the clients I get the following error:-
'connectivity to the remote computer could not be established.
Ensure
that
the remote computer is on and connected to the Windows Small
Business
server
network.'
Has anyone come across this issue before?
Kind regards,
Jeff
.
