Hi JR,
Is there a problem with the way the server is working?
Be very careful until you've had some experience with SBS, the configuration scripts are there because it's very difficult to duplicate their functionality without making mistakes. Some of the mistakes can be difficult to recover from unless you have either a full backup, or a known good server to refer to.

Hi,
I recently inherited admin duties of an sbs server where the previous
admin used the sbs "server management" wizard to do everything, and i
am used to doing everything the manual way through AD. Ive noticed that
the AD structure is a default structure created by the wizard that
looks like this:
-my business
-computers
-sbs computers
-sbs servers
-users
-sbs users
I'd like to re-organize and rename the OU's to my liking. I'm just
wondering if this will break anything besides the wizard losing its
functionality. And if this is the only problem, is there any way to
re-configure the wizard to go to my new OU's?
Also, is there any benefit to using the wizard vs. doing things
manually? i read in some sbs guide thats you should always use the
wizard, but i can't see how it would be bad to do things manually.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
.
