Re: Computer Connect Wizard

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

STEP 1:

Logon to the server and open the Management console
Click Computers
Check if the name of the workstation is already there.
If doesn't exist yet, create a new computer account.
If it already exist, go to Active Directory Users and Computers MMC.
Go to the SBSComputers OU under the My Business OU.
Locate the computer account there, right-click and reset.

STEP 2:

Go back to the workstation as local administrator
Right-Click My Computer->Properties
Click the Computer Name tab
Click the Change button
Change the computer name to be the same as the name of the computer
account on the server. Don't touch the workgroup/domain settings.
Reboot
Go back to the Computer Name settings
Click Network ID
Follow the wizard's instructions, and make sure you enter the
parameters correctly.
For instance you want to join the workstation to mydomain.local as
MyComputer, to be used by MyUser. You will enter:
User name: MyUser
Password: *****
Domain: MYDOMAIN
Once that's done, reboot.

STEP 3:

Go back to the server, and assign applications to the computer account
you joined.

Logon to the workstation.

That did it for me.
