Hi Joe
What are you expecting...?
Have you read the R2 website, have you read the read me on the CD / DVD ?
You do not have to do a format and install, it will 'upgrade' HOWEVER, do
you have standard / Premium ? If you have premium and using SQL then there
are specific issues you need to be aware of but the R2 website answers all
your questions.
Have a read and then you will be able to ask more specific questions. Cannot
get R2 via windows updates.
Quick answer R2 has WSUS built in.

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for the help.
Our company is a microsoft partner and we recieve not for resale versions
of
their software. We just recieved a NFR copy of SBS 2003 R2 and we have
our
SBS 2003 SP1 server online and loaded with all of our stuff. Is it
possible
to just do an upgrade install to R2 or am I going to have to format it and
do
a clean install of R2?
Also What is new in R2? Is it a complete new version like XP to Vista or
is
it just an upgrade like SP1 that I can get in some windows updates?
Thanks to all in advance.
Joe
