Hello Customer,
Thank you for kind update.
From your description, the issue may refer to the logon script does notwork. To narrow down this issue, I suggest you perform the following test:
Test 1:
1. Restart your SBS server after you change your printers
2. On client machine, please try to access
\\SBSServerName\sysvol\domain.local\scripts
3. Run the SBS_LOGIN_SCRIPT.bat
After run the script manually, do the clients update the printers?
Test 2: Map driver
1. The easiest way to map a drive for users is to edit the
SBS_LOGIN_SCRIPT.bat file in the
C:\WINDOWS\SYSVOL\sysvol\Domain.local\scripts folder and add the following
line:
net use M: \\servername\sharefolder /p:n
2. Save the bat after your modify
3. On client, log off and log on one time.
4. Is the map driver appear on client?
If the issue persists, please kindly help me collect some information for
further investigation:
1. Do all clients have same issue?
2. Your printers are local printers or network printers?
3. Please send the SBS_LOGIN_SCRIPT.bat file to my mailbox:
v-terliu@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
4. Gather MPS report
a. Visit
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd9
15706/MPSRPT_NETWORK.EXE. to download the file.
b. Run the MPSRPT_NETWORK.EXE on the server box.
c. Wait for 10~15 minutes.
d. Open Windows explorer, navigate to
%SYSTEMROOT%\MPSReports\Network\Reports\cab\
e. Send the .cab file directly to me at v-terliu@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)
