Hello Richard,
I'm glad to hear that things are working correctly for you now. Thank you
sharing out your resolution about this issue. I believe that other person
will get help from this post.
Because we do not know the detail steps when you upgrade the SBS, now we
can not find out where the setting comes from.
Please do not hesitate to let me know if this problem reoccurs or if
there's anything else I can do for you.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)

| Hi Terence
|
| I've solved the problem becuase rebooting the server can only be done at
the
| weekends, anyway whilst comparing it to a SBS 2003 Prem site, I noticed
in
| IIS for the default website it had "default" listed in the SSL section
when
| it should have been the LAN NIC's IP address so I replaced this and it
works
| fine from within the server management software.
| (IIS, expand Web Sites, hilight Default Website, right mouse click,
| properties, advanced, SSL IP Address)
|
| I dont know where the default has come from though becuase in the IIS for
| the ip addresses you only have 3 options (the two nics and "(all
unassigned)"
| ) so I guess this is something left over from the main server install and
| perhaps the R2 stuff being installed namely SQL2005 and ISA2004?
|
| Cheers
|
